3rd IMEC Canada India Charity Gala
The 3rd IMEC Canada India Charity Gala took place on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton. 24 very prominent Business leaders were recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to the Canada-India Corridor. High Commissioner of India to Canada, H.E. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, Consul General of India to Toronto Apoorva Srivastava, and Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada Melissa Lantsman were some of the dignitaries that attended the event. The VIP Reception from 6.00 pm was a major hit with more than 100 movers and shakers participating very enthusiastically, the Gala was attended by close to 350 people.
This year’s IMEC Gala raised $ 50,000 for Aim for Seva Canada, in support of education for the underprivileged kids in India. At a previous IMEC Gala, another $ 50,000 were raised for Global Medic, a Mississauga-based Charity. ATN was the exclusive Media Partner, Regatta Kala Kendra provided the Classical Dance Performance and Bollywood Dance School Canada performed a Gujarati Garbo as well as Hindi Film Dance. Vegetarian Dinner was provided by Tamarind.
