IMEC India @ 75 Gala

IMEC India @ 75 Gala, held on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Paramount Eventspace in Woodbridge (Ontario) brought together the who’s who of Indo-Canadian Diaspora from all across Canada. In all, 44 Award Recipients from all walks of life, including several Order of Canada recipients, were facilitated for their accomplishments and contributions to the Canada India Corridor in front of an equally high-end Business Audience of over 300 people.
High Commissioner of India to Canada – His Excellency Ajay Bisaria, Consul General of India to Toronto – Apoorva Srivastava and the Host / Organizer of the Gala – Vipul Jani – gave out the Crystal Awards to all recipients. There were 4 Panels of 11 Award Recipients each, followed by a Dance Performance between each two panels. Pre-recorded One-Minute long Video Acceptance Speech from each Award Recipient was played on 4 large screens after each award recipient. A Giant 75-feet long Banner, resembling India’s Flag, showcasing India’s Progress in different sectors was displayed in the Hall, becoming a major attraction for everyone, it was also signed by all Award Recipients and will now be gifted to the Govt of India in New Delhi as a Souvenir from Canada.
Several Members of Parliament, Councillors and others participated at the IMEC India @ 75 Gala. A Special India @ 75 Gala Magazine was also launched at the Gala.
