Impact Media & Events Corporation (IMEC) hosted the 2nd Edition of Make in India Conference on Thursday, October 07, 2021. The Virtual Conference on Zoom and Facebook Live brought together key decision-makers from the technology sector to discuss, debate and brainstorm ideas on how Canada and India can work together and benefit from each other’s expertise in these sectors.
Speakers included H.E. Ajay Bisaria (High Commissioner of India to Canada), Mr. Deepak Bagla (MD & CEO of Invest India), Mike McCabe (Resident Director for North America, Tata Sons), Harshvendra Soin (Global Chief People Officer, Tech Mahindra), Soumen Roy (VP & Country Head, TCS Canada), Colin Singh Dhillon (Chief Technology Officer, Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association), Jaimin Shah (Co-founder, DEV IT and DEV X), Sara Wilshaw, Canada’s Chief Trade Commissioner, Shivendra Singh, VP & Head, Global Trade Development, Nasscom. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) North America was our partner organization for this event and their Head, North America, Shuchita Sonalika also co-moderated the first session with Vipul Jani.
